English speaking tours on the Wine Festival

The 18th Wine festival in the Buda Castle is one of the most important wine event of Hungary. If you wish to meet Hungarian winemakers and taste through their wines but have problems with understanding the language, take part in a guided tour organized by Tom de Smet a foodie living half time in Hungary and knowing a lot about our gastronomy and wine culture.
Tours on
Thursday (9-10) – 5 p.m. till 8.30 p.m.
Friday (9-11) - 5 p.m. till 8.30 p.m.
Saturday (9-12) – 3 p.m. till 6.30 p.m.
Entrance fee including one glass & glass-holder to be bought
for 2300 Forint p.p. in advance at the gates.
Tasting tickets are available on the festival.
Guiding tour
3500 forint p.p.
Maximum number of participants each group is 8 persons.
Meeting point
Entrance at the big gate, Barokk Kapu, on the Duna side facing the Sikló
